1940s NAVY DECK PANT HERRINGBONE
|W30||81 cm||34 cm||34 cm||25 cm||76 cm|
Lot No. 8042-00-50035
The design is based on the deck pants operated by U.S. NAVY in the 40s, which is extremely rare in the vintage market.Full of interesting details unique to these pants, such as flap pockets and hem adjusters.
■ Originally woven cotton herringbone material is used for the fabric.
In order to increase the tear strength of the twill weave fabric, the normal herringbone is a combination of right and left twill weaves, but as a result of analysis, the vintage herringbone found by Mr. Nigel depends on the direction of the twill weave. I used S-twisted warp threads and Z-woven threads properly.At Nigel Cabourn, we have revived this vintage herringbone fabric with a focus on the direction of micro-twisted yarn.
The texture of the twill is very clear, and if you actually look at it, you can see at a glance that it is different from the general herringbone fabric.The material is hard at first, but it becomes softer and easier to wear as you wear and wash it repeatedly, so please enjoy the process as well.
■ It features a large front flap pocket, a tool pocket like painter pants on the side of the right thigh, and an adjuster on the hem.The hem adjuster can be squeezed by changing the position where the button is fastened.
■ The front is a button fly specification.In addition to the belt loop, the waist also has suspender buttons, so coordination using suspenders is also recommended.
■ Non-wash products.
