A jacket for deck crews adopted by the US Navy from the late 1930s to the 1940s, this model reproduces the deck jacket commonly known as "DECK ZIP".The short length jacket uses a high-density jungle cloth that protects you from the cold wind at sea, and is simply made with a rib collar on the zipper front.Other deck zip details include hand pockets on the waist, wind flaps to keep out wind between the zippers, ventilated eyelets on the sides, and solid wool ribs on the cuffs and waist. And reproduced.
The overall silhouette is neat and slender.
■ The material used is the original jungle cloth that has been paraffin-processed.
It has excellent water repellency and wind insulation, and you can enjoy the vintage-like texture every time you wear it.
In addition, the lining is made of alpaca wool pile, and cotton flannel is sandwiched between the outer and lining to create a three-layer structure with excellent cold protection.
The alpaca wool pile is an original dyeing by Freewheelers and is finished in a vintage-conscious, worn-out reddish-brown color.
■ The front zipper uses a bell-shaped original fastener.
■ In order to prevent the intrusion of wind from between the front and zipper, the wind flap is a discerning specification with alpaca wool pile directly attached.
